The car was repainted in the 1980s. Signs of previous rust repairs are visible on the bodywork, while the undercarriage is in very good condition. The engine was rebuilt in 1981. Otherwise, the Mustang has remained in original condition.

The chrome, trim, headlight lenses, and emblems are in quite good condition. There is a crack in the windshield, though it is not in the driver's line of sight. The car features a black convertible top in very neat condition.

The interior is in good condition considering its age. The dashboard has a few small cracks around the speaker grilles. The steering wheel, controls, and knobs are in good shape.

The engine was rebuilt in 1981 and runs well. The transmission and drivetrain operate properly, with smooth gear changes. The brakes function as they should.

Known issues: the temperature gauge is faulty, and the stereo system does not work.

An interesting Mustang for anyone looking for a usable convertible with authentic GT specifications and a traceable history.
